Flower help!?!?!?

When are daisies and hydrangeas in season and would they be good to use together in wedding bouquets??
Flower help!?!?!?
Daisy are available all year. They are an inexpensive and long lasting flower. Hydrangeas are strickly july/aug blooms. Mine are coming to the end right now, but what a crop of them I had this year! I think they would compliment each other. The different shapes are great together. I had periwinkle roses and wisteria and white spider mums. Silk of course. A lot of compliments on the selection of color and shape. A professional floral designer can do any combo you want and give you a honest opinion, also. It's your day...Best wishes!
Reply:I don't know much about hydrangeas... However for my past April wedding I used gerber daisies. I was able to find a gardener in my area who distributes to a local florist, so I was able to get a really good deal.

My bridesmaids dresses were sage green, and my favorite colour is pink.

So, their bouquets were various shades of pink. Then my bouquet had the same gerbers in it but also white roses. Gerbers are a large flower, but the bouquets were gorgeous. I can send photo's if you'd like.

It was also really pretty that their bouquets were one colour and mine was the same but fancier. Hope that helps.
Reply:Both are spring flowers. I LOVE hydrangeas. But I'm not sure they would do together in a bouquet as hydrangeas are a large flower.

Maybe you could use the hydrangea in some other arrangement in your wedding other than the bouquets, like pew markers or altar arrangements or even just a small arrangement on the table if you're using the unity candle.

But then again, if that's what you want, have a florist help you with ideas.
