Toxic plants for dogs?
I believe that the website below lists this plant as a toxic one.

I would suggest that you take your dog to a vet, just to be sure that there isn't anything wrong that could be of concern.

Good luck and I hope I helped you!
Reply:find a posion plant web page and look there.. ot call your vet
Reply:not all plants are poisonous, it's more likely of what your dog is allergic too due to the chemicals within the plant. I know my dogs are allergic to one of the plants i have in the yard, but i still haven't figured out which one (perhaps they've learned to avoid it by now since they're muzzle always swells to twice the size).
Reply:Hydrangae flowers ARE toxic to dogs. The side effects vary depending on the individual dog- some dogs may just vomit, other cases may be fatal- it all depends on the individual dog and the amount ingested.

Since the dog did seem to have an allergic reaction, you need to get the dog to the vet immediately.

Here is a list of dangerous plants: http://animal.discovery.com/guides/dogs/...
Reply:Look up online. You can get a list.
Reply:Definitely call the vet right away! they might have you induce vomiting if it was a short time ago. If it was a while ago they will still offer the best help for you at this time (better than yahoo Q%26amp;A) If it is late where you are you can still call your local 24 hr emergency vet hosp orcall poison control...

National Animal Poison Control Center at (888) 4ANI-HELP or (888) 426-4435.

Good Luck..Hope your pup is ok ;)
Reply:I would definitely check http://www.uexplore.com/health/poisonpla...

Also, call a vet, they may just suggest that you give your dog a benadryl. It's one of the only human medicines I've had my vet tell me to give to my dog.
Reply:It all depends on what flowers they eat.

If she is fine now then there is nothing to worry about, it may have just been a small allergic reaction.

However try to keep your dog from eating anything with sap in it, as many times this sap can be poisonous. Also, keep your dog away from plants that are known to be poisonous to humans, as this will most certainly be poisonous for dogs as well (Oleander etc.).
