Wedding Invitations?

My best friend is getting married the last weekend in September. We are going to make the invitations but dont have any specific items at them moment. The color's of the wedding are light blue and silver. Her flower's are hydrangeas and its just a simple, 100 people wedding, trying to save money. Any Ideas will be greatly considered.
Wedding Invitations?
https://www.rexcraft.com has some nice invitations if you want them completely done for you

https://www.invitationpaper.com is a great site for ordering blank invitations. Some assembly is required and you do your own printing but I got a custom colored petal-fold invitation for $1 each! Printing at Kinkos was like $20 for my batch of 100.

If you want something more plain they have the standard white invite. You can get a box of 100 for only $13.
Reply:I bought my invitations at Michaels. There are usually 20% off coupons in some of the bridal magazines. I got 200 invitations for $115.00. That includes the envelopes and response cards.
Reply:i made my invitations

i bought a pack of 100 blank invitations at a craft store for about $15 and i put a rose in the background and tied a bow on top. they turned out pretty nice

Reply:You could visit Party City or Paper Factory and check out their invitations that you can order OR their blank invitations that you can print yourself. If you choose the DIY, they have about 20 varieties to choose from. The total cost for DIY is $25 per package of 40-50 invites....don't forget new ink for your printer and stamps...totaling close to $120. If you want to order them and not DIY, the average cost is going to be about $200....add postage to that and your cost goes up to about $250.
Reply:Try wal-mart, they have the print your owns 40per box for $14.99, and they have some with really nice designs. They also come with response card as well.
Reply:Hi Beth, Im Beth too!!!! - anyway my sister gets married last weekend in august and we have made all her stationery. Save the date, invitations, evening invitations, order or service, table place cards, and menu. It has saved her a fortune and we have had such fun sharing it together. Just something special to do together. Our theme was cala lillies but you should maybe have a look on ebay for some design ideas or some of the local wedding fayres - you dont have to copy designs just get a feel for how they are made and some ideas. We have never made a card in our lives before but i can honestly say they look so good!!! better than lots weve seen made by people who made them for a living!!! Have a go - play around with paper and ideas - its time consuming but great fun....have a blast..
