Wedding Flowers?

What other kind of flowers would go well with white Easter lillys and pink hydrangeas?

Thanks for your input
Wedding Flowers?
Let's see. Relatively common flowers that would go well include gladiolus, carnations, daisies, dahilas, baby's breath, oriental or asiatic lilies, orchids, snapdragons, freesia, and hyacinths.

As to your bouquet, that depends on if you want a large or small one. If your personal boquet is small, stick with mostly smaller flowers like carnations, roses, dasies, small asiatic lilies, snapdragons and highlight with a few large blooms like a spray of gladious or a few large easter lilies.

Best wishes on your wedding!

Reply:Do not use the Hydrangeas in your bouquet unless you are willing to accept that they will wilt very quickly....they need a constant source of water and bruise very easily. If you decide to use it anyway you will need to have your bouquet, and all in the bridal party, in vases before and after the ceremony. I did a wedding last year for a bride who would only use Hydrangeas, they were beautiful but fragile beyond belief. She kept hers in the vase I provided, but the girls didn't, hers lasted longer, but not for the whole reception and the girls barely made it to the reception.

That being said, they can be used in alter and pew markers as long as oasis foam is used. I personally hate those big bows for pew markers, and prefer floral bouquets, they are beautiful, and can be easily taken to the reception for attaching to cake, gift, or head tables.

Stephanotis is beautiful interspersed within the Hydrangea blooms and adds scent. Have the florist put a "pearl" stick pin in the centers for added effect.

In place of the Hydrangeas for bouquets I would do open pink roses with the lillies. For fillers maybe Lisianthus, Alstromeria, Hypericum (pink berry), Calla Lillies, Rice Flower, Stephanotis, Gerbera Daisies, Spider Mums, Pink Ginger, Tuberose, Ruscus, Silver Eucalyptus, Ivy. Choose a few. The fillers can also be in your alter/pew markers.

I'm sure you will figure out what you want, and it will be beautiful.
Reply:Not sure if you are talking bouquet or centerpieces...so keep that in mind.

Roses, Lilly of the Valley, Freesia, Carnations, WHite Star-Burst Mums, White Garden Mums.
Reply:You can never go wrong with roses in a wedding..
